Esencia Theme

HOW STANDOUT PROGRAMS HELPED

We used the Esencia theme to build this site and really utilized the metafield techniques outlined in the Standout Shopify course to their full capacity. We helped the client go from not being able to sort their products to have full sort + filter capabilities which are so crucial for user experience.

This project wouldn't have been possible without Standout Shopify! I learned so much from this course and built upon my existing code + design knowledge to be able to offer Shopify theme development to my clients for the first time. The info is so easy to digest and understand, and the support of Rache + and the community is so helpful and encouraging. Thank you!

Collection Tabs

A classic example of simple that stands out is Hand Meets Sky, an online treasure trove that keeps all distractions aside so collectors can get focused on handpicking pieces to bring into their everyday life. They happened to build a virtual shopping experience that’s uncomplicated yet delightful.

Their shop page is a team favorite, easy on the eyes and well-organized with smart filters like ring sizes and an option to filter vintage from new finds. This shows us that standout experiences are built with less fluff and a whole lot of genuine thoughtfulness.

Shop The Look, Esencia Theme

Ask me what I would consider an e-commerce experience that’s unique yet well-balanced, and I’d for sure mention Eothen Circle. They were clever to make their online space feel like an extension of their brick-and-mortars, adding prominent images of their storefronts and shelves and utilizing the Shop The Look Section Template so that on hover, selected products would pop-up and you could easily add to cart.

There are many details to love, but mine would be how the background color changes so subtly on scroll, or depending on the page. I’m immensely impressed how Erin transformed our Esencia theme to this beauty. It gives the site a different feel each time, which makes you want to stay a little longer.
